現在私たち会員研修委員会は2024 JCI ASPACアンコール大会に向けて、皆様に高松の魅力を伝えられるよう、

鋭意準備を進めています。

Information from the Takamatsu Junior Chamber Membership Training Committee.

We, the Membership Training Committee, are currently working hard to prepare for the

2024 JCI ASPAC Encore Convention so that we can convey the charms of Takamatsu to everyone.

 

今回は私たちが暮らす街、高松市のことを知っていただきたいと思っています。

私たちの故郷である高松市は、四国地方の北部、香川県にあります。小さな都市ですが、雨が少なく気候が

穏やかで、とても暮らしやすい街です。

江戸時代には城下町として発展し、今でも栗林公園や玉藻城跡など歴史あるスポットが残っており、

市民に愛されています。

This time, we would like you to learn more about Takamatsu City, the city where we live.

Our hometown, Takamatsu City, is located in Kagawa Prefecture, in the northern part of

the Shikoku region.

Although it is a small city, it has a mild climate with little rain, making it a very comfortable

place to live.

It developed as a castle town during the Edo period, and historic spots such as Ritsurin Park and the

Tamamo Castle ruins still remain and are loved by citizens.

栗林公園は大名がつくらせた庭園で、四季折々の景色や、花見、茶席、舟遊びなど大名が楽しんだ遊びを

体験することが出来ます。

春季、秋季は夜間にライトアップが行われ、夕闇に浮かび上がる桜や紅葉の普段とは違った美しさを

味わうことが出来ます。

Ritsurin Park is a garden built by the feudal lords, where you can experience the scenery

of each season

and activities that the feudal lords enjoyed, such as cherry blossom viewing, tea ceremonies,

and boating.

In spring and autumn, the area is illuminated at night, allowing you to enjoy a different beauty

than usual as the cherry blossoms and autumn leaves emerge in the dusk.

高松城（玉藻公園）は日本でも珍しい、堀に海水を引き込んだ「海城」です。天守閣は残っていませんが、

「艮櫓」（うしとらやぐら）や「披雲閣」など、歴史と趣ある建物が残っています。

また海のすぐそばに造られたため、これらの建物とともに瀬戸内海の美しい景色を眺めることが出来ます。

春には園内に桜が咲き誇り、花見スポットとしてもにぎわう場所です。

Takamatsu Castle (Tamamo Park) is a sea castle that is very rare in Japan, with a moat

filled with seawater.

Although the castle tower does not remain, there are historic and tasteful buildings such as

“Ushitora yagura” and “Hiunkaku”.

Also, since it was built right next to the sea, you can see the beautiful scenery of the

Seto Inland Sea along with these buildings.

In spring, the cherry blossoms in the park are in full bloom, making it a popular spot for cherry

blossom viewing.

栗林公園、高松城（玉藻公園）のほかにも、高松市には皆さんに見ていただきたい場所がたくさんあります。
