現在私たち会員研修委員会は2024 JCI ASPACアンコール大会に向けて、皆様に高松の魅力を伝えられるよう、鋭意準備を進めています。

Information from the Takamatsu Junior Chamber Membership Training Committee.

We, the Membership Training Committee, are currently working hard to prepare for the 2024 JCI ASPAC Encore Convention so that we can convey the charms of Takamatsu to everyone.

本日は、高松の伝統工芸品「漆器」を御紹介します。

香川の漆器は、日本の伝統的工芸品として認められていて、長い歴史と高い評価を得ています。

漆器は職人の手作業で、漆の木の樹液を何度も塗り重ねて作られ、それにより美しい光沢を出しています。そのうえ、長く使うことができ、時間が経つほど美しさが増していきます。

また高松では、模様を彫り、そこに色の違う漆を流し込んで絵を描く「蒟醤（きんま）」という技法を用いた、美しい絵柄の漆器も作られています。

お気に入りの漆器を見つけ、長く使うことが出来る相棒として、生活に取り入れてみてはいかがでしょうか。

Today, we would like to introduce you to Takamatsu’s traditional craft, lacquerware.

Kagawa lacquerware is recognized as a traditional Japanese craft and has a long history and high reputation.

Lacquerware is made by hand by craftsmen by applying lacquer tree sap over and over again, giving it a beautiful luster. What’s more, it can be used for a long time and becomes more beautiful over time.

In Takamatsu, also produces lacquerware with beautiful designs using a technique called “Kinma”, in which a pattern is carved and lacquer of different colors is poured into it to create a picture.

How about finding your favorite lacquerware and incorporate it into your daily life as a companion that can be used for a long time?
